Dr. David Kirby is a graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph.  For more than 30 years, Dr. Kirby has pursued his passion for veterinary medicine with the attentiveness and dedication that is required to be a truly outstanding medical and surgical practitioner.  1995 to present has found him at the Masonville Animal Hospital, 1973 to 1999 at Western Animal Clinic and in 1977 was co-founder of the Byron Animal Clinic.

Dr. Kirby keeps current on veterinary medicine, in particular, two of his special interests – surgery and emergency medicine – by attending continuing education seminars and workshops.

Dr. Kirby and his partner Donna share their home with a fuzzy, orange feline named Gemma.  Dr. Kirby’s other cat, Digi, makes his home at the Masonville Animal Hospital.

Dr. Kirby pursues his outside interests with the same degree of passion that his veterinary medicine sees. He works out diligently at the gym concentrating specifically on weight training and metabolic circuit training.
